Thanks for the welcomes, I bought Barbarian Invasion (actually yesterday because of the time) and its now 03:39 in the morning, been playing it too much. Not that fancied about it all tho, cant really see what the big deal is about it ~D

Hello all.I have played MTW since 2002.About time I became a member huh.I have probably spent well over thousand hours playing this game.Now I'm only playing mods like the excellent BKB SuperMod.

Welcome BirgerJarl! MTW is well and alive. Although a great game in its own right, RTW lacks the immersive atmosphere and replayable value of it. You will probably like the Pike and Musket mod, MTW XL and BKB's cooking Viking raids mod as well.

Hello everyone. I've been playing TW since MTW was introduced. Now I'm hooked on BI. After reading "most" of the posts on tactics I've able to greatly enhance my game. How do the mods work? Do you still have the ability to play the original or is the mod a final "fix"?

Welcome aboard Romulas.

If you copy the original RTW(MTW for that sake)folder, rename it and install the mod in that folder. Now you will still be able to play vanilla from the original folder.

Hello everybody, I'm Nikpalj. I've wanted to play STW for a long time, since I've seen it's review in a local comp game magazine in, what was it - '99? But the big problem was that I have been a proud owner of an P - 133Mhz (!) for a looong time... I've finally bought myself a new computer (and a copy of STW with it) and then... I found out just HOW smart a CPU can be, playing against a human. And so... here I am.

Welcome Nikpalj! :bow: I started with MTW, then VI and now RTW/BI. I got Shogun relatively recently but haven't had the chance to install it due to lack of space. :ballchain: This will hopefully change in the days to come. :jumping:

There are a lot of experienced Shogun gurus around here, some of which are still playing the game and even keeping the multiplayer community alive. ~;)
