Don't know if this is news to anybody, but I've just heard about it:

What are everyone's views on the fact that an American is calling for America's destruction?
EDIT: whoops, pressed 'v' one time too many.

But more seriously, isn't the reason American citizens have the right to bear arms in the constitution specifically so they can overthrow an unjust government?
That's treason when we capture him we should kill him, It's not going to happen though.
Protesting while yelling !@#$ america and such, is disgusting but not treason.....joining those who want to convert or kill is treason plain and simple.
The bleeding hearts out their will say "he was a misguided impressionable little boy.....don't kill the man that wants to convert us or chop our heads........he means well! Lets give him a hug!"

I already had some difficulties following your logic for British people - but this is really interesting.Quote:

Considering the muslims who are posting here, I would say that your statement is wrong.Quote:

Oh, I think you'll find the KKK much more consistent and left-wing than your viewpoints.Quote:

So, I ask again, regardless of their provenance, are African-Americans, American?
Since you restrict to WASPs and are keen on citizenship based on religion, what about Catholic Americans?
:inquisitive:
Look once again anyone can be american apart from muslims and to make ser Clergane happy its because i dislike them and their religion, so there now you can ban me for saying i dislike something.
Well, I'm sure the USA is grateful for your permission to grant citizenship. :laugh4:Quote:

who says im racist, if a muslim preaches hate, he is not racist, if a muslim kills civilians he is a hero, yet when i say i dislike a religion im racist, sure

What about a muslim who preaches peace, or a muslim who saves lives as a doctor? Or a muslim who serves in your Army, helping defend your sorry ass?Quote:

Would you plan to give this sacrificial division any weaponry or can't they be trusted? Maybe just send them to their deaths with some pointy sticks? :charge:Quote:

I'm sure you get the drift - I won't expect you to do any actual reading. Maybe you ought to try talking to a Muslim or two.
Nah. Stupid idea.

See the problem that people have with you are your views...
You say terrible things about Muslims, and justify this by your "dislike" of Islam...
Here is your first problem, does disliking Islam give you a reason to "dislike" (for some reason I view this as an understatement) all Muslims?
For example, I have mild philosophical qualms with homosexuality, yet never in my life would I go "oMg!1! dIe U f4Gz!1! lolll!l1l1l" or hurl similar invective. I would never consider myself to "hate homosexuals".
Also, seeing as you have not elaborated on the reasons why you dislike Islam, one is tempted to think that you simply harbor hate for no good reason...
If you were to politely and intelligently list your problems with Islam in a discussion, I am sure nobody would think you are a racist...
He's been reading too many of Shadey's posts. :laugh4:
Don't believe everything you read in the Backroom mate.
But dear, cuddly Ragnar, you might remember that you used to have bombings all the time, much nastier, much more frequent - all from my lot across the water.Quote:

@Ragnar: I agree with Reenk-Roink, you make the impression to hate them just so, without any good reason.
And if you never want to talk to them, you will never get a real opinion on them, because your opinion is only based on secondary sources. You cannot rate all muslims by what some of their "leaders" or terrorists say. Or can I blame you for the faults of Tony Blair and the IRA?
What about us of unpure European stock - you know one that has direct ancestors who were native to the land before the Europeans showed up.Quote:

I guess off to the concentration camp I go....
Oh that right - I am perfectably acceptable because I don't practice Islam......
I like poking fun at racist to bad I missed the majority of it. Good Show Ghost
I'm sure that would be the best solution. I mean it just stands to reason, doesn't it, that if a country professes it's hate for another and without provocation forcefully ejects all citizens who can trace their descent back to that country, then it wouldn't foster any more hatred at all, would it?Quote:

Well that was an interesting read.
Agree - I wouldn't ban somebody for saying he dislikes a certain group of people. Expressing the dislike does IMO not constitute a violation of forum rules.Quote:

In this case King Ragnar's statements certainly tell more about himself and his logic (or lack of the latter as also shown by Aenlic in another thread) than they tell about muslims.
This conversation rather leaves me baffled than offended...
Can everyone please just stop feeding the troll?
My ignore-list is getting crammed. ~
Back to the topic at hand... is anybody really surprised by this guy (the American al-Queda calling for the death of all American Christians and Jews)? In a country of 300 million, there's bound to be at least one (and I'd be willing to bet there's a quite a few more, particularly up in Dearborn, MI).
You can writhe and seethe and scream all you want, but at the end of the day, what he's saying is no better, no worse than what comes out of the American Nazi Party, the Black Panthers, and other extremist race/religion based groups. You have to give these idiots their soapbox, if for no other reason then you don't lull yourself into a false sense of security thinking they're not out there. Tell the truth, before you got enraged, and wanted to 'get him', how many Americans reading this story were at first genuinely surprised/shocked?
i think that the main problem here and in general is the grouping of people assuming that all Muslims are the same and that all Americans are the same...
Ragnar, the Muslim community is at least as diverse in ideology's and moral codes as Christianity in fact perhaps even more so, the Quran condemns suicide, and the killing of non combatants.
Islams literal translation is ''way of peace and submission to the will of God''
their god is the same god as that of the Jews and the Christians and most Muslims have historically showed huge respect for both groups
There are Christians Jews and Zoroastrians living all over the Muslim world in peace and often co-operation with Muslims, indeed saints like st John are even shared!
The fact is that even the most peaceful of teachings can be distorted, indeed i regularly find myself of arguing with people who decide that because something terrible is done in the name of a religion, be it Islam or Christianity that it is the religion at fault, there is only 1 real reason for the majority of the actions of these ''Muslim'' terrorists and that is a lust for power, its just that saying thats why their fighting doesn't sound quite as noble! :laugh4:
Would an act of evil made in your name by someone who does not agree with anything you say or do make you evil?
Back on topic i am not surprised that an American could get involved in this, when people are brainwashed, logic and reason go out the window
