Native Language of EB Fans/Players/Members (Poll)

Curious as to the native language of the fans who play or plan on playing EB. No names will be listed here - just total number of votes. There's so much text in EB, that it's quite difficult to try and think about translations of things, but just in case we're curious about trying...

I'll include some of the most likely ones here. Please forgive (or feel free to rant :grin:) if I've missed any - 30 options were the most allowed though. Given the EB members I know of, and folks I see around the forum, I've made the choice of those 30 based on what I thought was likely, but who knows...

I speak English, but my friends say I speak double Dutch. ~D

And you missed out the best language of all time (and the only non-native language I can sort of speak) LATIN!

Polish language and Poland here.

I speak in RTW scripting language.

Needless to say, I tend to have trouble doing anything other than the most basic of functions.

I speak English fluently, but my native language is Bartix. Why wasn't it included in the poll?

By the way, what units will Bartix recieve? And who replaces Armenia?

They will have Bartixian stormtroopers, armed with hand held ion lazers, remote controlled elephants packed with explosives, false teeth that are to be wound up and let loose at the enemy, either causing a route or chopping them clean in half, and the elite unit...

Oh, I forgot. I was raised with Frysian first, because that's where my parents lived back then and because my father is Frysian. We moved when I was two, and I can't speak or understand Frysian anymore so I'm well integrated :laugh4:

Yep, means the same thing! (well... almost... technically it means "Are there any other Chinese speakers here?")

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that there aren't more Chinese speakers here despite being the most spoken language in the world. I mean most of my billion+ brothers and sisters are poor farmers who have only seen a computer through the window of their corrupt government official... but now I'm getting off topic...

I got Romanian, 7 of us so far.

man, aren't there any Chinese out there?? I saw four (including me!) votes! I feel very lonely sometimes :embarassed: . You see, that's one of the hard things about games. The majority of them are in English, which most Chinese don't actually know very well. But ah well, it's alright, not many Chinese play English games anyway.:yes:

Dutch is the language of frogs and drunk people, no one else can speak it.:dizzy2:

:laugh4: You forgot to mention Germans in your post. (You'd be surprised to see how fast they're actually mastering the language, although they always keep a distinct accent.) And frogs can't speak Dutch. Most frogs can't even pronounce German or English correctly, let alone the far more indicipherable Dutch sounds. ~;)

Note: before someone gets offended at this post, I'd like to make it totally clear that I'm refering to all frogs I ever heard, and therefore that those frogs may or may not be representative for frogs in general.

No wonder Germans can learn Dutch relatively quickly and vice versa. About half the words and grammar are identical or recognisable :p
