If only that, I'd be satisfied... Maybe I should be working towards that.:laugh4:
Honestly though, get a professorship. That way, I can make a decent amount of money, and spend my time thinking about things...
Then retire to the Netherlands or Switzerland.
Umm, life? Oh, you mean life outside the .org right?
Have a work in some company of video gaming(like CA)
Marry.
Finish the school
Live in other country
See Argentina win the world cup
Maybe one girl
What more?
enlightenment.
Wife?
Son?
Daughter?
Enough money to support all of the above?
That'll do me nicely. If I can get a Phd that'd be nice as well.
A successful military career together with writing some successful books about my heroic expoits:beam:
Then travel from Europe to China on motorcycle and horseback with my sweetie and then spend some time in Japan before sailing around the Pacific rim. Then selling photographs, videos, and travel notes of said trip.
A bit too dreamy?
Do it all in an M1 and you'll be a man. :army:
Become a Doctor.
Travel the world a bit-the first goal should help with this, if I can achieve it, as I would really like to do some aid work, join medicins sans frontieres for a couple of years, something like that.
Bag a '5' rated girl.
Learn to fly some kind of aircraft, I'm not choosy.
Go to the World Cup.
Buy a tailored suit from somewhere on Saville Row.
Own a high performance car of some kind-I'd really like a 911, actually.
Get involved in some kind of dangerous adventure, in which I can to rely on only my razor sharp wit, good looks and street smarts. Preferably one in which I triumph. Preferably well stocked with Femme Fatales and fog.
Sack Vienna.
To change this world for the better, find real meaning in my life, and die without regret.
Oh aye, and pull a major bank-robbery in Monaco. :2thumbsup:
Join the Greek Army
Retire in Askos
Become a Military Historian
Marry
Children
I don't have goals. I go as it goes...
But I've dreams. The most important in my life was always to travel to outer space before I die.
I don't have goals and aspirations, they are bound to fail.
Don't you aspire to look good in a dress?
I've honestly never been a goal-oriented person; in fact, if someone tries to force goals on me, I generally find myself trying not to accomplish them, perhaps out of spite. I prefer to live based on principles instead of goals, and let whatever will come.
My principles would include respect to others regardless of circumstance, the pursuit of greater knowledge, serving those I care most about, and living with integrity.

To know the meaning of life.
None.
Just want to sit around, watch the grass grow, and ponder the shapes of the clouds floating overhead.. :daisy:
None, death is inevitable, why bother ?
Well, I would like to start a revolution and get rid of the corrupt U.S. government, but I'm a realistic person so my goals are something like this:
Marry a hot girl
have a kid or two
either become an archealogist or start a semi-popular punk band
start my own record company to promote underground and obscure music genres
Happyness , who needs anything else .
We have the same goals in life  Except for the archealogist part.Quote:

To live a long and happy life
My goal in life is to live. With all meaning of the word. I seek to Live. To experience everything I can before the inevitable. To see everything I can before the end of it. To leave this world at least better then when I entered.
Pass my exams with ease.

Get my Bachelors in Economics
Get my Masters in Finance
Go to Oxford and get a Masters in History
Get a job that will allow me to live like a Pasha.

Well, to go to Edinburgh and study either Chemistry or Medicine for 4, 5, 6, or 7 years.
If it's Medicine, I suppose I'll become a doctor, perhaps try and join the Royal Naval Medical Service or the Royal Army Medical Corps (not the RAF...)
If it's Chemistry, I'll wait and see... Either a PhD somewhere nice, or the Diplomatic Service, or endeavour for the Queen's Commission into a nice (Heavy) Cavalry Regiment or the Royal Navy...
Well I've gotten the financial end taken care of. So that does it as far as a good 90% of goals go...
I guess watch my daughters grow up, give bits and pieces of advice where it's necessary, and have as much fun as I can before my fatal spilunking accident when I turn 38.
Live fast, die old, and leave a worn out corpse :balloon2:
Become a politician, then plunge the nation into the biggest political crisis it has ever seen. They'll remember ME!

Not sure after that, of course in the immediate future I'm gonna play more gigs, get more drunk, get more girls, get more posts on this damnable forum and maybe, one day in the far future I'll get to 1000!:inquisitive:
Well said.Quote:

I would love to open a orphanage in Timor Leste' (East Timor)... if only i had the courage.
As for how i want to live, see my sig, it's what i try to live by.
Having seen the work these amazing people do, i can not think of a more noble cause or pursuit in life.Quote:

:laugh4:
I'm with Beirut. I have no plans that aren't frivolous.
Be a good father (and husband).
Get paid what I am worth.
Finish a campaign of M2TW.
I will probably only achieve one of the three.
With no goals I've managed to: visit every continent bar antarctica, gone scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, cycled down a volcano in Hawai'i, caught an interesting disease or two in Latin America, been attacked by pirates, crossed the equator three times on board ships (any other shellbacks will know what THAT entails :2thumbsup:), got a degree, worked for an ex-spy, been on the wrong end of a water cannon, committed serial and parallel adultery (:shame:), planted over 1000 trees, been a certified organic grower, been a government advisor, raised 2 step-kids and kept pigs, bees and chickens, met Desmond Tutu, watched whales in the southern ocean, seen the "green flash" at dusk over fresh caiparinhas, and been at the helm of a 2000 tonne vessel entering Istanbul, Valetta, London and Cape Town. I HAVE changed the world, but not single-handedly.
I always chose the random outcome of chance over a planned-out ambition, because that produces more exciting results. If I'd followed a plan I'd have made more money, maybe married and had my own kids, and would be old, tired, bored and lacklustre well before my time, having seen and achieved nothing of any note.
Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it. :2thumbsup:
Of course not. This guy (see below) is my role model :2thumbsup: :laugh4:Quote:

At age 56, I remember 35 years ago, wanting to be a combination of Ralph Nader, F. Lee Bailey, and Bob Woodward. Defender of the defenseless, exposer of evil, documentor of incompetence. Got started on that path, but then life happened.
Now, I'm Cliff Clavin, with a hobby as a gamer fansite Moderator.:laugh4:
LoL. Life: that which actually happens while you pursued other plans.
Now, I value: the respect of my peers and grandchildren. The steady affection of a good woman. Work that seems to make a difference, however small.
And good beer :urp: :)
p.s. don't get me wrong, I'm not bitter about not having become a celebrated Nader/Bailey/Woodward hybrid. Rather, I like to think I've distilled the 'essence' of those guys (and others) over time, and try to apply that to where ever I find myself tossed by fate.
Adaptability. I highly recommend our younger guys train for it. Learn a profession (M.D, Law, Science) if you can; but also a trade (truck driver, brick-layer...), and don't be afraid of physical labour (lettuce-picker...). You may need all those in the next 50 years.
