Monks and Masons - 12 player mafia
Right, as soon as some other mini mafia games finish up, this one will start
Basically its a kind of mini CDTC (i did not make this up [monks and masons])
Instead of just mafia, theres another mafia group, just named werewolves, check the roles section for more info.
Roles:
Townie:
You are a Townie. You have no special abilities.
You win when all Mafia and Werewolves have been eliminated.
Mafia:
You are a mafia member with "partners name here"
You win when all non mafia roles are dead or nothing can prevent this.
Werewolf:
You are a werewolf member with "partners name here"
You win when all non werewolf roles are gone or nothing can prevent this.
Mason:
You are a mason with "partners name here"
You win when all mafia and werewolves are dead.
You know your partner isnt a mafia, but is he a werewolf?
Combining with your partner, you may block one persons night actions, but if your partner is a werewolf, he will be unable to kill that night. If he/she sends in saying he/she will kill, and you say you will block, you will fail the block, and possibily (low chance) be revealed to the target.
Monk:
You are a monk with "partners name here"
You win when all mafia and werewolves are dead.
You know your partner isnt a werewolf, but is he mafia?
Combining with your partner, you may protect one person at night, but if your partner is a mafia, he will be unable to kill that night. If he/she sends in saying he/she will kill, and you say you will protect, you will fail the protect, and possibily (low chance) be revealed to the target.
Plus a few special roles, depending on how I feel/ Who's playing.
1.) During the day you can vote for a player that you think should be lynched. Votes must be in the form Vote: Player otherwise they won't be counted. It is necessary for players to unvote before switching their votes.
2.) Once dead, you stop posting. A bah post is fine though.
3.) If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
4.) Try to post at least once every 48 hours. Treat the game as a committment. If you go inactive, you will be replaced.
5.) Avoid excessive profanity, flaming etc.
6.) Have fun!
7.) Keep the vote tally yourselves.
8.) Write up your own kills, as I have no talent for that type of thing.
9.) No screenshots. Quoting Pm's from me is not allowed either.
Just so you know, and as a summary.
2 Mafia
2 Werewolves
2 Masons
2 Monks
Rest are townies/pro town roles.
Mafia and Werewolves CAN be Monks/Masons.
Once a Monk/Mason is dead, the partner does not keep the ability to block/protect.

If you got a mafia, monk or mason one, make sure it has your partners name in it. It may have happened a few times. Also when confirming, say who your partner is. Just so i know i got it right.

Yes, on the event of 7 "No Lynch" votes, no one will be lynched, and the game will move to the night phase.
Please keep the Vote Count, as per the rules.
Also, partly my fault, in this game, Abstain is not a valid vote.
Inactives get 2 days without posts/ PM's before prodding. If no response to prod, replacements will be found.

Anyone who complains about lack of story
1) Kills etc will be written up, and changed a bit by me to stop text analysis.
2) This is a mini game it doesnt need write ups with no lynches
3) I suck at writing.

What?? Are you people insane?
We have 4 bad guys who can kill two people a night. That means we potentially drop to only 6 townies after not lynching. With no discussion today we have nothing at all to go on. No lynch is the worst idea I've ever heard, we had a 1/3 chance just guessing randomly. I'm willing to bet most of those voting it were mafia/werewolves.

Maybe I'm not a great mafia tactician, and maybe mini-mafias are strategically different from Capo de Tutti Capos, but I don't understand how random lynching helps.
Additionally, although there isn't a detective written into the game rules, maybe there is one after all. Seems pretty likely, and after a night we can start getting reliable information from one - if we don't lynch him Day 1.

Who said anything about random? There's no deadline, we could have talked all we wanted. It is perfectly possible to find mafia day one, go look at GH's mini mafia.

Kills tell you zip. Look at the mini-mafia GH hosted to see what you can figure out day one.

CountArach was at home. Watching Futurama. His favourite character is Leela. He heard a knock on the door. When he opened the door, a very sexy lady was there. After some small talk, they moved up into CountArach's room, undressing. In the middle of their scandelous acts, a large hulking shape was outside, searching for a way in. A man emerged from a bush, weilding a small asian man. He had multiple asian men along his belt, and started rapidly throwing them at the hulking shape. After a few direct hits, the shape bolted. The shadowy man melted away. CountArach never noticed.
