100,000 for expenditure, of corruption
i'm racking in about 200,000 a turn anyways
but i have found the source, its this guy called
Gaivs the fat or something along those lines
i want to kill the evil guy off!
is there some way? without making him go on some suicide mission
How about making sure he doesn't govern anything important ?
put him on a transport boat, and let it attack the pirates...
How do you find out who or what is causing corruption expenditure?

Send him bandit-squashing with little/no support.
Garrison buildings are a good way to deal with corruption. Found that out in a Seleucid campaign.

I agree, for enhancing the roleplay aspect I always wanted to be able to assassinate my own generals but I have to use ghetto methods and just 'pretend' :(
XD In my Romani campaign I got this worthless spawn from one of my generals; the kind of guy that can't do anything right by nature, but a good guy nonetheless. He wanted to feel important, so I sent him on a very special mission, deep into untrecked territory with some loyal mercenaries to keep him safe...I had him gun it through the gates of Bononia as the enemy sallied, right through the barbarians until he was bogged down in a group of Gaesatae. The mercenary protectors were made to just leave before the gates even shut behind him.Quote:

In vanilla RTW, you start developing corruption traits when you have more than 55000 in the bank. Is that also true in EB? I always controlled it by queueing up extra buildings if I went over the target.
I have corruption under 55000 also...
I thought it had to do with characters that were 'Disloyal' and 'Selfish' and certain traits. I avoided Selfish and disloyal gouvernors...
i call for a mod to allow you to assassinate your own characters!
my reasons for this are..
1. historical correctness - romans did assassinate each other :)
or proscription of a certain character which is way too complex but sounds interesting
2. to quell useless characters
3. to stop corruption
4. to boost roll play
Is that corruption in your city income analysis (which can always happen), or "corruption" tyre traits for governors (only happens over 55000 in Vanilla)?Quote:

Or if you want a soulution that isn't a copy of a film, maarch im into Germany with part of the sons legion, and have him engage the ememy, one the battle starts, have all members of the other legion retreat, leaving germanius and his loyal troops to fight to the death.

I did notice that in the little scroll where you can choose your victims, your own spies are also listed. If you have spies in the settlement. Don't know if you can actually assassinate them though.

Because there is probebly a file called descr_agent.txt which we can't get to.
Hard-coded means that a feature/function is not available in the accompanying files, and implementation would require changing the .exe file. Not only is this next to impossible if you don't know the source code, it's also illegal to distribute modified versions of the .exe file.Quote:

I dont understand the whole secreteve attitude of some companies and other companies give out SDKs freely...like Valve or CIV...
Because if you crack the exe and someone has lost there CD and want to play, you send them the modified .exe, and then no-one buys the game anymore as it can be got free. CA go off there nut and close down any mods in progress, lower the moddablity of all future games and BOOM no more EB mods ever. Be happy with what you have don't risk it fo little or no rason.

Yes, but theres always the chance that once the .exe is hacked someone will just make it not ask for the disk, CA will see this hacked exe, see EB modded it and blame them for letting someone hack it.
Not worth the risk I think.

It doesnt make any sense how EB should not "let" any cracker crack the exe if CA themselves cant protect their original exe?
The exe has already been hacked none expects some modders to give them way...there are cracks on the net with EVERY patch/xpack of CA...
So if EB makes a mod that requires the exe to be modified it will not affect the protection of the game...

It's still risky, the forums have a polisy of no craked games to EB would get kicked off the forums and have no way to advertize, ask a team member of a moderator of these forums.
