I proposed the same idea to froggie some time ago for a subforum for Orgies to come together and play in multiple games under a single banner, but the answer was that there just isn't enough support from the forum regulars. So while a making clan would be a good thing, don't expect any official actions (stickies, subforums, etc) unless we see an XBOXHEUG turnout.
I'd support any clan of the .Org. After all, i've been a member for quite a while, i'd support the .Org to hell and back.

You do BF2 to m8??
I would support an .Org clan but I don't play any online games, usually because of other people, I hate other people, that's why I usually only play SP games. I suppose I could go out and buy a MP game, if I did what would you recommend?
Battlefield 2 seems to be the logical choice, since many of us (myself included) play it. It's online only, however, unless you like playing with stupid bots. I'd much rather have a great SP game with a MP element tacked on, than the other way around. Thankfully, BF2 has a huge community and is actually a great game itself. Another perk is that BF2 is old enough to be dirt cheap, and you can pick it up along with its expansions for around 30 USD.

Kekvit, What your BF2 rank? I'm a First Sergeant. WHat your link to your stats?
I'd be open to the idea of a .org clan now that I have a little bit more time on my hands.

Everyone else, post what games you play. If ENough people post here and are actually willing to make this happen, we could have our own sub fourm here if we get enoguh seriouis people.
Well, it doesn't even matter for me since I only have dial-up so I won't be playing any MP anytime soon.
you could play cybernations or something, doesn't require cable or anything. Or You can play VI. I played VI online in fricking 4v4's game just fine. Laggy Yes, but it was playable :-).

I support it, but I dont have too much MP games.
I'll be interested in joining, I have all the battlefield games (bar a few of the expansion) and would love to play online in an .org clan.
A quick query, I play the PS2 version of BF2. I'm incredibly good at it. My points per hour is somewhere around 150 right now. Unfortunately I got real sick of wall hackers and I haven't played it in something like a month and a half. So, my question is is it free to play online once you have bought the game for your computer? If it is I might buy it for my computer. BF2 is really the only game I play online.
If I get the game I would definately support a .Org clan.
lets hook up on BF2 then.Quote:

Yes, you don't have to pay to play BF2 online on the PC.
If a Mod/Admin Can Make this a Poll to, With Yes being to Make a .org clan, No for no, and mabye for... Mabye!
With the exception of the big MMORPG's (World of Warcraft, EVE online) there aren't any PC games you have to pay to play with online.Quote:

I'd support it. I've got:
MOH:AA
BF2 (when the new computer gets built)
Red Orchestra (likewise, though I can play it now, it's just a bit slow)
America's Army (Punkbuster doesn't like my current computer anymore, so I'll have to wait until the new one for that as well)
Battlefront II (sometimes)
There's just one problem: My dorm's internet connection firewalls certain connections, specifically the inbound ports required to log in on certain multiplayer games (such as BF2 and NWN). I'm thinking of moving back to my apartment so I don't have to deal with this DESU anymore.Quote:

Yea, I had the same ploblem with my Firewall, I just shut it off. But I presume you can't shut down the Dorm firewall ofc. Vista is also a SOB with games to i hear.Quote:

I heard that you don't have to pay every month to play guild wars, is this true?
That is correct.Quote:

There are a couple of older threads about GW, but I guess it could all be summed up like this: GW is an action RPG, if you like the skills/combat system you'll like the game. I may still have a trial key or two somewhere if you'd like to give it a try.Quote:

That sounds good, what is the skills/combat system like?

I'll just PM you a trial key so you can try out for yourself. Here's the client: http://www.guildwars.com/downloads/gwsetup.zipQuote:

I don't know how much the client needs to load stuff these days, but it shouldn't take too long to get into the game, and after that it keeps loading in the background while you play.
Warman, I've already added you onto my XFIRE. :)Quote:

A cheap easy temporary solution is opening up the side of the case and using a little box fan to blow into it to help cool it down. That's what I'm doing until I can get a new PC.Quote:
