well i finally got 1.0 working (that dumb message about have ur files right screwed me up). i started a pahlva campiagn. i have really noticed a difference really, exept that the water looks really cool.Quote:

Every time I've started a campaign I've noticed several GLARING differences. I especially like the re-placement of cities (not replacement). Ambrakia and Thermon are all nestled into the mountains....I'm sure there is several more. I thought it was enourmously different i.e. better.
The only downside is that turns are somewhat longer now. I don't mind it though, really. If I was in a rush I'd be playing an RTS.

Wow. The Parthian governments have been completely redone, there are a bunch of new units in the area, new buildings and a new client ruler system. I must say you are pretty hard to impress. Would seeing Marian legions marching towards a stonewalled Celtic city, defended by Alpine phalangites, with Epirus coming to their aid with the spanking Indian elephants and new medium cavalry, chanting requirements for the reforms that turn Hayasdan into Persia and with the strange Irish humming in the background impress you?
