Heretical Revenge - Mini Mafia [Concluded]

Six inquisitors on the road to Rome, carrying several heathens to be burned at the stake. Unfortunately, one of these heretics has escaped his imprisonment, killed an inquisitor, and is now posing as him with the aim of murdering the Grand Inquisitor, who is also travelling with the party.

Roles:
1 Grand Inquisitor
4 "Normal" Inquisitors
1 Heretic

This game will go by Sasaki Kojiro’s classical “Assassin Mafia” arrangement. The heretic wins if he kills the Grand Inquisitor, the Inquisitors win if they kill the heretic. If the Grand Inquisitor is lynched the assassin also wins.

The Inquistors all know who the Grand Inquisitor is, while the Grand Inquisitor and the Heretic don’t know who anybody is. Obviously the Inquistors will have to balance risking the Grand Inquisitor being lynched with revealing who the Grand Inquisitor is.

At anytime the heretic may post Kill: [player’s name]. If the target is the Grand Inquisitor, then he wins, if it’s not, he loses and is automatically murdered by the remaining Inquisitors.

If the heretic is lynched, he may select to kill one player. If it’s the Grand Inquisitor, then he wins, even though he will then be killed. It’s comparable to a suicide mission really.

There is no night phase so there also are no night kills.

Obviously no screenshots are allowed and no out of thread communication is permitted between players of this game about this game.

Because everyone elses votes make them appear innocent. If you are really a townie then you should be able to tell why, based off of who the Head Inquisitor is. I really can't say more without letting you The Heretic know who the HI is.

Just a thought, here. I'm just a bit curious that Andres would go in a far different direction than the man he replaced. In fact, he went comletely in the other direction. Perhaps, he though Warmaster might have made an error, and is now trying to get votes on the rather oddly acting Waldinger? Plus, he's goofing off again.:inquisitive: Very lackadaisical of him, if I do say so.

Somebody has to die for this game to move on and I believe that Andres is the best option for lynching.

Ummm, you guys are wrong. I'm innocent. No worries though, I'm used to getting lynched early as a townie. Shlin28 and Andres are both good lynch choices in my opinion.

Edit: since when do I always pick on the Mod? If anything I'd vote for him because of his creepy avatar and not because of his mod status.

Yep, its five votes to lynch. Its a bit of an experiment really - seeing what changes it makes to the game throughout its progression.

It seems like Waldinger is the lynch for today.

Day I Conclusion
After Waldinger gained five votes, the inquisitorial party were in doubt over how to deal with him. After much debating, they choose to throw him in a nearby bramble bush.

Fortunately for Waldinger this punishment had good news and bad news. The good news was that bramble bushes are only deadly if the spikes are coated in a toxic substance. The bad news is that the inquisitors decided to coat the bush with cyanide powder, a dangerous poison, prior to sending him to his fate.

After Waldinger's death, examinations of his corpse revealed that he was a "normal" inquisitor.

I think you know pretty both WH and myself have very different styles. While WH's will always be cautious and careful, both as townie and as mafia, I will always have a rather aggressive and inquisitive style.

I don't like your continuous mantra. It seems like you are saying that something which is completely normal is in fact abnormal :inquisitive:

Gah! Looks like Andres was on spot this one. My bad.

pevergreen attacked FactionHeir with a rather sharp knife which he pulled out of the pockets of his stolen red robes. FactionHeir was almost instantly stabbed in the neck, staining the ground a vibrant scarlet colour. pevergreen's words of "die Grand Inquisitor", were the last thing he ever heard.

The Inquisitors were in shock, but quite rapidly apprehended pevergreen, and bled him to death for his actions.
