Checking difficuly?
Quick question from a man with memory issues:
Is there any way of knowing what campaign difficulty you are playing on if you happen to have a save game that you've managed to forget what difficulty settings you chose?
Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out by using the "search" button.~

Re: Checking difficuly?
Heh, I asked the same question myself. I presume you found my thread.
Quick answer to others: no, there's no way unless you want to download a potentially game-breaking external program.

Re: Checking difficuly?
Well, that's not entirely true for two reasons:
1. RomaSage is a save game editor that supposedly gives you the ability to alter difficulty levels in your ongoing campaign. I haven't tried that so I do not know if it works. What you can't do is verify what difficulty level you are playing at, there's is simply no such feature in the program. So as far as I can tell, there is no way, savegame editor or no savegame editor, to tell what difficulty levels your ongoing campaign has.
2. If you simply make a copy of your save game you could try to use the program features (changing difficulty levels) without the risk of breaking your save. Simple really.
