Help on Difficulty Settings Please
I usually play on medium battle, hard campaign, but I was wondering just how the difficulty settings for the campaign work ?
I like playing the Romans but want to roleplay a more historical timeline.
I don't want to face a Sweboz jugernaut by 230BC etc.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Re: Help on Difficulty Settings Please
EB is optimized for VH campaign M battle. The Medium in battle will give you enemies that are roughly equal. Any higher setting will give the AI morale bonuses that will allow AI levy troops defeat your elites.
The easiest way to avoid Sweboz juggernaughts is to use one of the EB money scripts. The thread and the files can be found on the Unofficial Modding Subforum. The money script balances out the factions and prevents the AI from fielding the legendary "Stack perades" of countless elite stacks during the same turn against the player.

Morale bonuses? They get a big attack bonus (+4 at H, +7 at VH), and a +7 defense at VH as well. I suppose they also get a morale bonus, but the main unbalancing thing about higher difficulty levels is the combat stat increase.
