As hopefully most of you know, Go is an ancient Chinese game that was eventually adopted into the Japanese culture. Does anyone here play Go? if so, are you good at it?
Since I'm an okay (pretty bad) go player, I would like some help/advice. I get the general idea of it, and I can play it, but I usually lose. Can anyone help?

I have played but sadly i missed my flanking cav units and ended up sulking on MSN game zone.....an invasion from the Rage Domain is planned for next summer.... watch out Mr Gates.

I play but just casual ones.

I'm not bad, but I can't offer much advice. It seems like I use a mental sense of balance/imbalance as a way to guide my moves. I have no specific techniques or strategies.

By the way, I used used to be an English tutor for the children of the go master of South Korea. He was one of the top-ranked players in the world. After dinner each evening he watched games on TV.
He also liked the rock group Deep Purple.
His wife achieved the highest score in South Korea on her university entrance exam, and their 3rd-grade son wrote wonderful stories, in English, far above his grade level.
A very interesting family.
