I downloaded the battle trainer demo with getright only to find out that the zio file is damaged! Downloading the file with a 56Kv90 modem and then find out that he downloaded a shitload of useless bytes is irritating. I am sure that is not my download manager cause l have downloaded many things with it with no problem. Damn you EA.

Why are you downloading the battle trainer demo when you have the game already?
-
1. you should have it as a collectible
2. it has the most beautiful music ever
3. it has a 'map editor' (of sorts...)
4. why not ?

I'm a man... I can change... If I have to...
...I guess...

THe music in the Demo is defintely better. Did you get the segemnted download or the entire one?

The same thing happened to me. To be honest I didn't expect my computer to actually download something properly like it should, so I wasn't surprised.

jaydee,
i know it's a pain. i d/l'd that thing originally with a 56k...took about 6 1/2 hours...95 megs. yes, i think you can still download the segmented version, where each segment is 9 megs or so. also, tosa has a 30 meg version that he made by trimming the fat but that's mostly designed for those wanting the editor and not the extras like music and such. perhaps he can upload it somewhere like the .org, with ca's permission of course, since it is altered and they might not want that done. it's also kinda tough to email since a lot of mail servers have restrictions on size. i'm sure he'd be willing to put it up on our clan site, but it has file size restrictions also.
your best bet is prolly the segmented file system on totalwar at the moment. also, be a bit careful with some of those download remember-where-you-left-off download programs; a number of them like gozilla are reported to have 'hooks' in them for sending out info about your system or for banner ad stuff. to remove them, get 'ad aware'. i think you can find it on zdnet. nice program. i've found a number of these obnoxious privacy invaders on my system and i regularly scan for them any more.

I'm sorry, but i never apologize.

Yes, l wanted the editor. Well l have tried to get the small files about 3 months ago with the IE download manager but the files were corrupted :S
Again yesterday l wanted to download the editor and l was downloading the entire thing with getright and when l tried to unzip it there were erros of all sorts.
You think tosainu will give me the editor file? I would be more than thankful!
