A Test For the Backroomers
I like these the countries in this order
1.France
2.Holland
3.UK
Why?
Some hints.
1. Order is important.
2. Texas
-
Re: A Test For the Backroomers
France shares two letters with Texas. Holland shares one. UK shares none (Though United Kingdom does indeed share 1).

Re: A Test For the Backroomers
France because of Louis, Holland because of all the .Org's wonderful Dutchmen. UK is third by process of elimination.

Holland helped Napoleon kick everyone's ass.
The UK got lucky?

Re: A Test For the Backroomers
well, really none of the 3 have to do with texas, since we took texas from mexico. but then again, mexico came from spain, which was a battlefield for napoleon, so itll be

Drinking with a real live orgah (and fellow sox fan) would be an honor. I am still 18. So you would be doing this knowing that any identification I would have on me would be a complete and utter forgery.
If that is not your style I understand. I'll just drink some tea:laugh4:
But seriously, I don't know how viable that would be. I was planning to go home sometime this month but sunday evening would put me into Lubbock sometime around 2 A.M. at best. And driving on the West Texas Roads at night is never a good idea.
You must learn to plan these things better:laugh4:. But who knows keep me in the loop and if you can do it another time (friday or some such) We'll see.

Re: A Test For the Backroomers
Gonna take a shot here:
France militarily came to Texas' aid against Mexico during Texas' bid for independence.
Holland came close to giving financial support, but ultimately decided against it due to uncertainty about Texas' future, ability to repay, and the potential of losing trade with Mexico.
The UK wished to obtain a foothold in Texas for their own interests.

Re: A Test For the Backroomers
France fought against the colonial English troops, Holland was the first to recognize America's independence, and the UK and America are good buddies nowadays. How it relates to Texas I dunno doesn't everything in the end relate to Texas??
