CTD each time i start a campaign

Well first of all say hi (and well unlucky me, first post, crash post =/ ) :inquisitive:

Well as topic says games crashes each times i start a campaign.
Already tried all the 1.2 fixes wich were pointed on that topic no1 worked, so i runned validation install and thats what i got:

You don't have an original installation; There are changes to files, or some are missing.
However, these may be conscious changes you have made, to remod EB. See below for details.

You haven't installed the fixes. Also, you don't have an English version of the vanilla RTW. Perhaps it's French? Some others have had problems using non-English RTW versions with EB, but German also appears to work.

You can try to backup the vanilla RTW files listed in your validation result under text and instead use these:
Vanilla text files

Also, you should try the solutions listed in the validation post. Chances are you'll be helped by adding -nm to your shortcut.

Yep youre right, its not an english version but a spanish version ( god sometimes i blame myself for being spanish :wall: )

Anyway, i got all 1.2 fixes installed now, i replaced the vanilla text files as you said, tried all the solutions on the validation post and added -nm to the shortcut.

I even discovered that preferences player from vanilla and eb were empty, i added the preferences player to both but theres something wrong, each time i try to start a campaign, apart from the crash, preferences player from eb changes to :

CHAT_COLOURS:name=ffffa0,private=ff7707,game=94aad c,public=fff777,system=ffffff,lobby=fff777,setup=9 4aadc,playing=ff0707
EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:FALSE

and the rest dissapears :dizzy2:

Perhaps you'll need the English version of the sounds and videos too then... Those are pretty big, mind you, so it's a bit harder to get them to you :sweatdrop:. Also, it's not guaranteed that it will help.

Are you sure you don't have Nero installed, for instance? Could you detail what you've done from the validation post?

Well no i dont have nero =/. And about the validation i tried almost everything (not the thing bout ati cards, since i got an nvidia geforce, not the nocdcrack since im using an original game and neither the vista thing, since im running xp), the rest, tried all of them :no:

So which video driver versions did you try?

Are you sure you're using the shortcut, by the way? If you use the trivial script it's not just to add -nm to that, you then need to disable movies in the EB configuration.
