This likely exists somewhere, but I've been running into quite a few good sites in the past few weeks I'd like to share, just in case they're helpful. If anyone else has some, do feel free to post them up.

Reference
- 100 Ways To Say "Said" ...using only a quarter of the english alphabet. You'll look at this list and say "I knew that" but it's a good reminder of how many ways English has to add colour to poetry or prose
- Psychology for Writers
- Visuwords - Very cool visual thesaurus
- Character Traits - thorough coverage of characteristics with which to define a character
Expert Advice
Writing Tools
- Q10 - highly recommended (unfortunately only for Windows). Free text editor with on-screen word count, timer, and that's about it. Excellent for making you focus.
- Title Generator - just hit the button and get six titles! Thought provoking at the least.

Good idea!
Three years ago the Shadow One also attempted to set up a writing class. Unfortunatly, he submitted only two articles before real-life commitments forced him to retire. You can find them here and here.
