Really nice, especially the Italians.
Hello, Drone! Thanks for your comment. I looked at the Knights of Calatrava again and thought they were too yellow so I decided to change the mount altogether. I have replaced the Ehorse mount with the KHorse one and recoloured it. I also gave the riders a second colour, purple. Hope you like the new changes!

The riders in the first iteration were a little hard to make out, probably looks alright as a single model but gets kind of lost when viewing a unit. The extra color in the second set helps a lot (even the fancy reins on the horse model). Nice work!

nice colours n texture work leith ....
Try drawing on some defining lines on those bifs , results will be amazing .
cheers
Thank you, DTS! I was wondering if you could tell me more about "defining lines". A picture will do nicely. Cheers, mate!
sure thing leith ...
DEFINING LINES
What i mean is use BifReader or Photoshop & improve the actual Rider by drawing around joints , gloves , waist n helmets etc to make it stand out !
The original MTW Bifs both foot & mount can be improved incredibly .... as they were rushed !
Lots can be done .... lots
I can make some time & show you ....
Would you like to send me a Bif or two ?
Just email me the Portuguese or Khwarizmi or both & ill draw up the 4 standing figs to give you an idea ..
cheers

Awesome work! Guys, I want and wish to heavy mod this game in order to improve in every bit of the engine limit... I think we can go far, Leith i'm honored to reply in your posts because we share the same love for MTW1, this game has such a great potential... leith what you think can we organize a modder team and coordinate together in order to make a Super mod with all small mods and contents made by the modders and funs trought the last years?
I think MTW could be greater as it never was before

Leith great work! will you release this mod with those new units in the future so we can donwload your beauty?
Thanks Nikola! Well, I am planning to release a mod or two but I have no idea when. I'm almost done with the unit textures but I find creating the unit icons quite boring, which is why it is on the bottom of my to-do-list. If an experienced modder were to help me with the unit icons, I would finish the current mod much faster. In addition, I have added Eastern factions, taken from MTW 2's mod The Broken Crescent, such as the Kypchaks and the Khitai Empire. I am planning to give the Muslim/pagan factions some lovin' too.

Nikola, I don't think I would need more than 256 units for my mod :)
Yes 256 is fine, you can place all agents/ships/horses after that in the list so there will be twice as many units than vanilla. It's more important to make the units unique and memorable, also the same generic unit can have different info_pic for each culture(not sure about the description and names?).
Bigger problem is the limit on texture pages/bifplates for battle.
Welcome back, YanBG! I totally agree about the unit limit. It's not about the number, rather the diversity. Regardless, I hope you will release your bif plates soon so I can modify them even further to create my dream mod:laugh4:
