I was curious about the model, too and looked it up here
If it's one of those compact models the quality is quite surprising.

Opps - typo. The camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 (5mp, 12x zoom, image stablizer). It is not a DSLR but it is about the same size as one.

There is no "children/pet" setting on the camera. "Party" and "night portrait" seem to be about the closest to such a mode. However, while looking this up in the manual, I came across the section on the EV (exposure value) setting. I think one of my problems is I got myself confused on how to adjust the EV setting. I was adjusting this to the negative when I think I should have been adjusting it to the positive.

Me looking at some food that has just appeared on my friends table

I'm the guy on the Left, from left to right it goes Shrek, Patrick the Starfish and Donkey...

Finally, this is a picture my mate did for our Band, called the white Shadows...we play alot of Pink Floyd, or we will when i get my drums
    When I was a child
    I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
    The child is grown,
    The dream is gone.
    I have become comfortably numb...

Though I'm not Canadian and I despise the UN I can drink to that. It takes alot of courage to be a peacekeeper, or any kind of soldier really, even more so in the Balkans. Cheers Goofball!

Something you need to understand is the depth of respect Canadians hold for our Peacekeepers. Up here, we see our Peacekeepers as soldiers, firemen, cops, doctors, and ambassadors, all rolled into one.

In Canada, there is no higher calling than to be a Peacekeeper.

Hmm... I sense some bitterness throught the Force. No wait, that's just the greet curry for dinner. No, no. It's definitely bitterness.

Ahh, more wretched jelousy than bitterness. It's a bit of a bummer sometimes to work painfully hard on something nice that you can't afford yourself and that you know will belong to someone else.

It's cool. I always thought Peacekeepers had an important role to play in the world, if utalized properly. Although we can argue for hours about how they are deployed, where they are they are often very helpful to civilians and the world. Although the system for accepting them can be abused (re: Bulgaria), those who aren't just random people given by the government tend to be strong willed and good-hearted individuals.

I was thinking about becoming one for a while, but I dunno.

    Cheers anyway Goofball.
