    Chancellor report, Summer 269 BCE

    Raised taxes even further.

Simple Drainage has been constructed in Hecatompylos as advised by Phanias Lydikes. The construction of Basic Farming in Ipsos and roads in Side has also been started.

The units from the Lydian army sent into Ipsos by Antiochos has been retrained.* I moved my own Royal Army to Sardis, and the AH to Side.

On another note, despite being allies, a sizeable Pontic army has entered my satrapy, and it looks like it's moving towards Ipsos.

In foreign affairs, the SPQR has signed a peace treaty with Epeiros.

    Treasury: 1278 mnai

*OOC: Since I-K moved them, I took it as he did the job instead. That's why I didn't do anything.

Thanks to Ibn or Viking, whichever one moved my character for me. I'll take the save now.

    EDIT: Done!

I have moved the Lydian army, as well as Strategos Ankyrikos, as he has requested to travel with the army, towards the city of Halikarnassos. Please note that the city of Ipsos is now without a garrison, and if it doesn't revolt, it may be taken by Pontos. The Satrap's army is nearby in Sardis.

Done, engaged a force of bandits (see battle reports). Set up a fortified winter camp so that we may pass the winter in as much comfort as possible, as the army will not be able to return to the city before the winter begins.

Alexandros Syriakos have been the fastest this season. He forced his men to march faster and his army is camped next to Polyxenidos Lykikos' army. The combined forces of Timarchos Anaias Mysiakes and Attalos Pergamou Mysiakes have passed the others and are moving fast over the vast desert towards the target. Bithys Nisaias Parthiakes is almost catching up Arrhenides Gedrosianos. Parthiakes managed to borrow some horses from the locals and advanced towards Hierosolyma almost as fast as Syriakos. Gedrosianos however was not so lucky. Many of his men became ill after drinking water from an old well and thus he had to make a camp and wait till his men get better.

Added 8902 mnai to the treasure.

    -------

Moved Prodromoi unit to the fort north of Hekatompylos.

Also moved the remaining units of Syrian Army to Antiocheia. If possible, then I ask that the Chancellor would retrain them.

Sarpedon can also move Asiatikoi Hippakontistai unit from Side to his Satrapy.

Sorry guys, but I won't be able to do my part today due to real life situations, so I'll have to extend the time.

I'll do it first thing tomorrow.

Edit: Ibn, it seems I can't download from the mizus site anymore as it gives a 403 forbidden message. Could you upload it somewhere else, please?

    Chancellor Report, Summer 267 BCE

    Buildings
Too low funds to do much spending on buildings this season, however at least Sidon will see an improved temple to Atargatis.

On the other hand, many buildings have been completed this season. The improvements to the governor's mansion in Ekbatana, the wooden palisade in Gabai, the city-state festivals in Alexandreia-Ariana and Antiocheia-Mergiane, the hidden stone sewers in Ipsos and basic farming in Side.

    Taxes
Taxes has been raised in Sardis and Sidon.

    Military
The Lydian Army as well as the parts from the Basileus' Royal Army in Antiocheia has been retrained. The Lydian Army's peltastai has been disbanded and replaced by a unit of toxotai.

    Foreign affairs
We are no longer the most advanced faction, as the SPQR has taken that place.

Also, there are some changes in the diplomatic stage. Our allies the SPQR are now at war with the Karthadastim, and more importantly for us, Pontos has signed a peace treaty with the Ptolemaioi while their armies still remain in our lands. Perhaps we have real reasons to question their motives now?

    Misc.
Moved the akontistai unit belonging to the Lydian Army from Halikarnassos to Sardis. My own units have been moving towards Pergamon and Antiocheia, either for joining the army or for retraining.

A Ptolemaic army has attacked Alexandros Syriakes and Arrhenides Gedrosianos' stack. Therefore the one of them who is in command should fight the battle before we can continue.

Perhaps I should have been more clear, but the save was only for Celtic Punk (Arrhenides) or Incitatus (Alexandros) to take, so they could fight the battle. I would appreciate it if you took away that save so no confusion is made.
