    Chancellor Report, Winter 268 BCE

    Buildings
The east will see even more city-state festivals as the preparations for those has begun in Alexandreia-Ariana as well as Antiocheia-Margiane.

In honour of the Syrian god, Atargatidos, the construction of a larger shrine to her is being constructed in Sidon.

Otherwise, the only finished building this season was the small temple of Artemis in Sardis.

    Taxes
Halikarnassos as well as Asaak had their taxes raised, while Ipsos and Sardis saw some lower ones, a decision that was made because the area desperately needs a boost in population. The retraining of my RA as well as the 1st Lydian Army is costly in terms of men.

    Military
A unit of caucasian archers has been trained in Mazaka for my own Royal Army. They will be replacing my band of persian archers.

Two units of akontistai have been trained, one in Sardis for the garrison of Halikarnassos and one in Antiocheia for the garrison of Sidon.

    Foreign affairs
Trading has been established with the Gauls known as the Aedui.

SPQR, our allies, were kind enough to donate 4379 mnai as a token of their admiration of our valour and courage. No doubt this is also in recognition that we are the most advanced faction on Earth!

However, the Pontic army still stays put, and on top of that a new, smaller Pontic army has been sighted a stonesthrow from Mazaka.

    Misc.

Persepolis has grown and the governors mansion there must be improved. Where is satrap Andromachos Syriakos?

I have moved the parts of my army that is not already in Pergamon towards that city. I have also moved a unit of akontistai from Sardis to Halikarnassos.

    Treasury: ~7900 mnai

    Taking save.... Done!

Wow the empire has grown and so has my character so many management points, governing Antiocheia was quite good.
My character is now moving towards the rebels in Karkathiotherka.

Done. There is this guy called Captain Hegemonides running around in my glorious province of Parsa. Any reason?

Attalos Mysiakes and Timarchos Mysiakes had a good start they managed to get ahead of Alexandros and Arrhenides. However soon they noticed that the road they had taken did not lead them closer to Hierosolyma but instead further east, away from it. Quick investigation showed that someone's devious hand had changed the sign on the crossroads a way back. Who was behind it remains a secret. Alexandros Syriakos and Arrhenides Gedrosianos managed to get to the striking distance from Hierosolyma and camped near a bridge north-east of the city. Polyxenidos Lykikos and Bithys Parthiakes forced their armies to march harder and managed to catch the Mysiakes Duo. All of the liberators are finally near Hierosolyma.

OOC: TCV, again, please add the 8902 mnai to the treasure! Had a lot to do and forgot to do it myself.

I killed the other RBG that I spawned for 'GMaximus'.

Moved some units around: Parthian Army towards Ekbatana; Akontistai unit from Antiocheia to Sidon; Units from my RA to Antiocheia so they could be retrained.
