Chancellor Report, Winter 262 BCE

Buildings
As usual in unruly provinces, katoikiai has begun construction in Sinope and Mazaka, and in a less-unruly-but-not-completely-content Sardis a Phrourion is being prepared. In the newly conquered city of Nikaia the Stauroma Xulikon has been repaired, and a Diallage Enchorios has replaced the old, Epeirotan government.

This season saw the completion of a Heorte Poleos in Antiocheia, a Temenos Hieron Mithrou in Karmana and katoikiai in Amaseia.

Military
The Prodromoi and Thureophoroi in Antiocheia have been retrained. In Hekatompylos a unit of Nîzagân-î Êrânshahr has been raised, and Hierosolyma now has yet another unit of pantodapoi.

Internal affairs
Celebration is at hand as the 1st Lydian Army under Panaitolos Ankyros has captured Nikaia! The population was enslaved which brought great wealth to our glorious Arche, and the trade, taxes and grain is not too shabby either. Taxes were lowered though, to keep the peace.

In other news, trade has also begun with the Getai.

Foreign affairs
The Aedui and the SPQR are now at war against eachother. May our allies be victorious.

Intelligence
A Pahlavan army has once more shown their complete disrespect toward our Arche and has crossed our lands. It didn't stay for long, but it's still there.

The Epeirotan army spotted in Thrace has disappeared. However, a much greater one has been spotted outside of Serdike, led by a Eudamos Prochtheios.

Misc.
Sarpedon and his Royal Army has taken one step further towards Byzantion, and Arrhenides one click further towards Sarpedon's Royal Army. Aratos Syriakos will be in Antiocheia in 6 months.

Basileus' Report

Moved Captain Antiochos Soter towards Charax. It will take some time before he gets there though.

Antiochos and his Royal Army moved south. They camped near the border.

Pezhetairoi unit was moved to a fort near Hierosolyma just as a unit of Persian Archers from Hierosolyma.

Thureophoroi and Prodromoi units have been moved south.

Chancellor's Report, Spring 261 BCE

Buildings
New inhabitants are being brought into Nikaia to replace the unwanted people, in an effort to create a loyal Satrapeia Seleukeia. It has also been decided that Pergamon needs a new armoury and thus the construction of a Syllogos kai Skeuotheke has been ordered. In Zadrakata it is hoped that a new Naiskos Mithrou will keep the people in check. They are getting unhappy with our rule. Ankyra will get a Naiskos Atargatidos.

A Diallage Enchorios has been established in Byzantion. Military settlers have been brought and settled in the new katiokiai in Asaak and Side, while the Satrapeia HemiAutonomos is finished in Hierosolyma.

Military
A klerouchoi phalangitai has been raised in Antiocheia to replaced losses in Sarpedon's Royal Army.

Internal affairs
Sarpedon has assaulted and taken Byzantion! The inhabitants have been enslaved, and the taxes set on low. A battle report will come.

Nikanor has now assumed command over the 1st Parthian Army.

Antiochos Syriakos has died of natural causes! Sarpedon Syriakos is the new Basileus!

Foreign affairs
No news to report.

Intelligence
Spies have been sent down into Aigyptos. Alexandreia is lightly garrisoned with 244 Pezhetairoi, 122 Klerouchon Agema and 80 Toxotai Kretikoi.

There is also a small Ptolemaic band waiting by the docks in Heptanomis. Reports say no more than 2-3 units led by a general, who's name we have been unable to ascertain.

Spies have also been positioned outside of Petra, showing a light Arabian garrison.

Misc.
Arrhenides has been moved towards Byzantion and will get there next season. Phormion has been moved towards Persepolis and Aratos towards Antiocheia where he will arrive next season. The 1st Parthian Army under Nikanor has been moved towards Petra.

The SPQR are now counted as the most advanced faction.
