Rhegion has been captured, but the battle was terrible, we lost around a third of our men, that's why I hate siege battles, I lost around 30 horsemen to lousy pathfinding where the cavalry goes in a zig-zag path instead of straight through a path.

Regional Pacification has been installed in Rhegion and the wooden palisade there is repaired. We are now working on making the region a provincia romana.

Military
Legio I Apulia is marching to Capua and Roma to be retrained. Legatus Cotta is also moving to Roma. Tribunus Regvlvs's bodyguard has been retrained.

Internal Affairs
Taxes set to low in Rhegion. The taking back of that settlement has opened a new influx of trade and more Denarii is available. Congratulations to Legatus Cotta on his new son Titvs.

Foreign Affairs
The Empire of Seleukeia has established a ceasefire with the Koinon Hellenon and Epeiros.

A Villa Magistrate is being constructed to restore order to the growing overcrowded population in Arpi. The Provincia Romana is complete in Taras and the plebs are in check.

Military
Tribunus Pera was sent to govern Arpi temporarily. Legatus Scipio was sent to govern Taras. Dux Asina and Tribunus Regvlvs have arrived in Roma. All but 1 Eqvites is retrained from Legio I Apulia and will remain stationed in Capua till the end of 269s Congressional Council.

Internal Affairs
Taxes set to normal in Arpi. Taxes set to high in Taras.

Foreign Affairs
Pontos has declared war on the Arche Seleukeia.

Taxes set to very high in Arretium, Roma, and Capua. High in Ariminium. Normal in Rhegion. Tribunus Longvs has hired the services of a Mathematician. Legatus Scipio has hired the services of a Playwright, a Comedian, and an Armourer.
