I recently (a week ago) downloaded EB to my BI game. I used that automated install btw. No problems so far, really. Everything that is supposed to happen in EB, happens in my EB:BI. Things like the confirm script button, are there. The reforms, and all units are accounted for. Everything seemed to be going smoothly. Except one thing. None of the empire (except mine) are growing. I'm playing as the Aedui and it's like 250 B.C. in case you wanted to know the details.

It is probably just a rare chance of things. The AI sometimes does nothing at all and you just happened to have them all do nothing at all.

That does happen on occassion.

Sometimes the Seleukids and the Ptolemies are having endless wars for Antiocheia and Damaskos / Tarsos and Sidon, without any city ever falling.

I have had the Greek peninsula locked in war in such a way that the ownership of the cities there had been the same as in the start of the game for 40 years. Rare, but it happens.
