Anyone ever on their first time firing up EB, get a CTD within the first five turns?

I know I have. Ever since EB .80 the first time I'd play, within 5 turns I'd have a CTD. Restart it and never get one again.

Technical people, is this the unstableness of RTW in general talking, or was my copy sentient for those five turns?

I can think of only one reason why: you installed EB, and immediately 'dived into it'. If you restarted your PC instead, this may not have happened.

However we've had a bug once, which would cause the game to crash at exactly the 5th turn regardless of what faction you played.
