    Default Making a "shadow" faction

I thought I saw it in the scriptorium but I dont. I want to make a exact copy of a faction, and use it on a city in sicily. Cant remember how though.

Question moved out of scriptorium - please ask questions in questions section

not sure I've seen that info... RTW and BI already have max number of factions so you need to re-use one of them, not create a new one.
Not used mods before? Looking for something small and fun?!

Exactly, we are unfortunately limited to the existing factions. They can be edited beyond recognition, but not added to.

What I've made in my mod (base on RTR) using the free romans_scipii as shadow factions for SPQR (romans_julii).

I don't have files on me so I can't be exact but the important thing is to edit the descr_sm_factions (using empire_west & empire_west_rebel (?) ) template.

The rest just make carbon copy of units in EDU while giving the same entry in DMB.

Make entry on the new faction in descr_strat by adding the spawn on revolt (?) tag (don't exactly remember but you can check for bi descr_strat for comparison).

To you your religion, and to me my religion.
