Saved games location

I was trying to find out too since I've been using Vista these last few months. So for Vista users the files are deep in the Users directory and won't show up on the fancy Vista index search.

C:\Users\*YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\saves

I'm using Vista too and on my machine the savegames are in the standard Medieval II\saves folder

Thank you so much for posting that, I had that exact same problem.

Is there a way to save games to a different than the default location? I mean to a custom location like, c:\games.
I am using windows vista.

After a little research i found out that this "savegame-folder-hidden-in-the-vista-structure" seems to occur if you install the game in the default "program files" subdirectory. If you install it in another folder NOT in program files (e.g. C:\Games\Medieval II) the savegame folder will be there, too.
