Thread: Medieval 2 expansion problem

    Default Medieval 2 expansion problem

I bought the expansion to medieval 2 for whenever europa barbarorum 2 comes out just to be prepared, but when it was updating to 1.03 it said

Invalid or missing target C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\packs\data_0.pack , I went into the folder and that file is there, so I don't know what is wrong.

Have you tried a clean reinstall?
Do you know something I don't by the way? I'm pretty sure EB2 is a long way off.

Honestly, I don't expect EB2 to come out in 2008.

But you should install M2TW to a folder outside of Program files.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I know it won't be out for a long time, but I still wanted to just get the expansion to play it too. So if I take it out of program files it will work?

I don't know if that's all that's wrong. But installing inside Program files has caused all sorts of trouble for many here.
