What ? They didn't teach modding course at your school DG ?

Seriously, the most importing about modding is ideas of what to mod, then you can learn how to mod it (if possible).

Knowing your own limitations helps too. I can't even draw a straight line without a ruler on a piece of paper, so how am I going to model units using 3dsax

Not to say you cannot learn though. Anyway I stick to text base modding. Much easier..

To you your religion, and to me my religion.

I cannot draw either - and "3ds ax/axe" might well be a better name for the application if I got my hands on it.

It wasa tough call - home economics, needlework or modding...I guess I jst made the wrong choice

    The Gods envy us.

They envy us because we are mortal, because any moment might be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.

Yeah, likewise here. I've learned what little I know from the modders here on the forums (Horseman especially, who helped me learn my way through a few confusing files).

I learned my modding from poking about in descr_strat to get the ideas, then I downloaded LOTRTW which is great - most of my expertise comes from there. I got skinning (which I still can't do very well) from a coincidential poking of a dds converter into the models_unit folder and finding a skin for a spartiate, then putting a red dot on its shield
