Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus and Gaius Iulius Caesar were both Republicans, even though Caesar had declared himself dictator. We can speculate whether Caesar wanted to be Emperor of Rome, or not.
The war between Marcus Iunius Brutus with Gaius Cassius Longinus versus Marcus Antionus was also a pure Republican War. It wasn't a war to decide who would become emperor.
Finally, only Octavianus "Augustus" was an imperialist. As I said, it is a matter of speculation whether Marcus Antonius wanted to become emperor, but to be honest, I don't think so.
