MTW2 Problem

Hey All,


My Clan Mate Maxmius can't log on MTW2. He saids he can't log into MTW2 because of Invaild CD Key, but he can play SP fine. I don't remember how to fix it. How can he fix it?

Go into the registry and enter the correct key.

Failed To Login - Invalid CD-key

Maybe the most common problem of the lot. It often happens and while in RTW it was easy to solve this, in MTW2 it's a little bit more difficult.
But once you know of to do it it's easely solved. And this is how:
Open Start
Click Run
Type: regedit
Now go to this: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/SEGA/Medieval II Total War"
Now you'll see a value representing the CD-key. Change it to what it should be. You could have done the following wrong:
-Don't type spaces
-Do type the "-"s
-Don't use "o"s use "0"s
-Type everything (except for the numbers obviously) in capital letters
