I don't think we can randomize the deployment for each unit, even if we wanted to. Could you post screenshots of the initial deployment of a given unit where it's different from battle to battle?

Well, the main reason behind this inconsistency is that the formations are generally made for large (and huge) unit sizes. Almost all formations (including vanilla ones) look somehow screwed up on tiny as there aren't simply enough men on the field. We can try to balance the formations so that they would look remotely like what they should on small, but it's not exactly easy - inter-unit spacing and unit depth can not be scaled with regards to unit size; they're constant on all sizes, which is just plain dumb.Originally Posted by zooeyglass
