I had that unhappiness problem again yesterday. For no reason I can think of all my provinces suffered a huge drop in happiness. There was no obvious cause - no death of the king, no global event, no loss of territories - nothing.

It's like suddenly a flock of enemy spies just descended on each and every province, but only for one turn. The next turn evrything went back to normal....weird.
