Default Moated, Uber Forts from Brittania able to be built?

One thing I loved about kingdoms was the moated uber forts. They were truly great. Will it be possible to build these in the mod, or are the just landmarks build into the game?

Will the buildable forts be better than the campsights with stockades in EB1?

Well, guess not. But it really would be nice if a few were to be placed on the map in certain locations, such as Alesia, That major uber fort in Mesopotamia the Romans never could conquer, Ravenna, and possibly a few other notable ancient fortresses.

There have been talks about using stone forts.

    Stay tuned...

Doesn't making the permaforts cause every fort built to be a stone uber-permafort?
Fighting isn't about winning, it's about depriving your enemy of all options except to lose.

Even though you might not be able to build them, there could always be some permaforts on different strategic positions around the map. Thus, it would be more of a challenge to invade enemy territories, as you would have to sieze two "castels" instead of one. Also, some of the factions in the game, most notably the Romans, were quite keen on fortifying important positions.

awesome. If they're well enough placed, it would mean they would actually be usable, and folks would HAVE to take them. However, since they are kinda uber forts, I would make thier siege time enormous.

    You mean Ctesiphon?

That was Seleukeia, just given another name by those damn Pahlava.

It was city, or town, outside of Seleukeia, not that it matters much anyway, just wanted to nitpick

Classical writers claimed that Ctesiphon was founded by the Parthian king Vardanes. The first reliable mention of Ctesiphon, however, is as a Greek army camp on the east bank of the Tigris River opposite the Hellenistic city of Seleucia.

great idea by the way, will be interesting to see what the EB team decides to do with the forts from kingdoms

Can one actually build those forts that are used in the britannia campaign?
I thought that they could only be placed in permanent positions on the map.
