Thx Alphonse, I really hope it makes the game more fun to play...

    Hey there Andrei!

Another option once you have patched vanilla to 1.2, is download Lusteds Lands to conquer 3.1. Again this improves the AI out of site and doesn't change the overall feel of the game.

This is an excellent mod and very easy to use.

Speak to anyone, it comes highly recommended. After you get a taste for mods, you won't be able to stop.

    All the best

    From as I remember it.....

Lands to Conquer creates it own folders. All you have to do is download and run the install when it asks. It creates its own icon on your desktop and you use that one instead of the conventional M2TW icon.

The biggest changes you will notice are
    - instead of every turn being 2 years, every turn is 1.5 turns (this means you have 300 turns to complete your task instead of 200.
    - instead of conquering 45 regions, you have to conquer 35 before achieving victory.
    - Units have been rebalanced and are much better to use.

    Enjoy

The same happens to me on vanilla, they do not attack islands, and during sieges, if you assault the enemy while they are standing outside your gates, they just wait there, i put my catapult outside my gates and shot at them, while they just watched and began burn. If i charge my armies into them, i get a response, but i dislike moving me men from the safety of my walls and ramming them into a much larger army, its destressing
