If you want to play MP with him, give him yours. They need to be identical, as do all the rest of your files. Use the installation validation tool to check that you have identical installations (the output should be identical).

Alright, Ive had it. Ive held out long enough. Im starting the Pahlava campaign Ive been itching for. Even though I have a horrible feeling 1.1 will be released later this week and all the hours I spend building a Persian empire between now and then will have been in vain.

Don't worry yourself. A certain law dictates that 1.1 will be released just as I'm about to achieve the Marian reforms in my current campaign. The EB team always manages this unless I cheat to get them. I don't know how they know.

Personally I have no problems with 1.0 so I just want extra units/sripted events/traits and other bonus stuff like that.

I have been around this forum for a reasonable time and i am very pleased and thankfully for what your guys have done for us as fans. But somehow i never get used to the phrase ' it is done when it is done '. In a way it does not feel good, even when i understand it is not fair to try to pin you down on a possible time off release. I mean nothing bad, it is just my opinion and feeling on this matter. Again all my gratitude on what you guys have achieved with this mod, truly fantastic.

But the second we say we think it will be ready at X time, then if there is a problem and it is not a lot of people (not everyone, granted, not even most, but a number still) will get pissy, whining about it, even though we were very honest at the time with an estimate. It's much better just to not say anything at all about it.

I think new units can be created using an already existing unit model. It's like the Syracousan hoplites which use the Liby-Phoenician unit model.

the regional units from every faction that you can recruit .
will they be available for a custom battle ?

A few points if I may....
1) There is nothing wrong with custom battles now.
2) LordBula has mentioned in another thread that the unit limit will not be reached in 1.1. Which suits me as I don't mind having a little breathing room in the DMB for my own purposes. Besides, they have to save some of the eye candy for EBII, eh?
3) Why do some of you guys do this to yourselves and fall for the Khelvan-ish tactics of some of the team members? Don't you realize your just being mocked on their internal forums? :P
Rest assured there will be a 1.1. The only question is when. As for when, what does it really matter? When it is released all the fans will be thrilled and sing all the praises just the same. It's always better IMO, to take your time with big releases for obvious reasons, than it is to rush things for the sake of well meaning but perhaps a bit over-zealous and impatient fan base. Besides, on top of having 1.0 to keep us occupied in the meantime. We also have the home forums here to entertain us as well. Didn't I just see a Spartan vs. Navy Seal thread somewhere on the main page? Or perhaps it was the Pahlava Bodyguard vs. The M1 Abrams tank?

Well for me EB v1 is good as it is, no mod is perfect, and I give my full support to the EB team to take their time. Instead of complaining when and where v1.1 is going to be released, it will be better if we support the EB team on the release of EB 2.

One question Bovi. You said that there are going to be 5 releases before 1.1, is there going to be a fix for the Roman governer, and is it going to be save compatible with 1v.
