Strange CTD

Hi.
I'm trying my own modification, and I've found a curious problem.
I can load the campaign with no problems.
I can load a custom battle with no problems.
But if I return to custom battle menu from "grand campaign" menu, or viceversa I get a message of a inexpected error has occurred and M2TW closes.

Any idea why this happens?

if you dont like it then just uninstall/reinstall the game it happend to me once but my friend fix it

It does that to me too, a modified menu file sometimes seems to make it worse, but it definitely happens for me sometimes on a vanilla installation as well (having got paranoid that it was solely my menu .lnt causing it and going back to check..).
