The last thread appeared during the last Ashes, with English Assassin (IIRC) apologising for our team's ineptness. The last few splutterings of life in that thread invoilved the Brit celeb dancing show, "Strictly Come Dancing", with me marvelling at the fecunidty of the "Gorgeous Mark Ramprakash" thread on their forums. It's currently on 133,888 posts and 2,027,721 views, at an average of 278.9 posts and 4224.4 views per day. Even Bradman and Hobbs would be impressed by these figures.

I bet most of those views were from Bangladesh or Zimbabwe. Bradman never had Zimbabwe to score views off.

Alright, that was the lamest imaginable cricket joke. I'm going to go hang myself now...

In actual Cricket news was anybody else shocked and appalled by the performance in Wellington?

Almost as bad as the Aussies last night! Congrats to India on finally getting some points on the board. They were ripped off due to rain in the first game.

And in case your wondering... Brit living in Australia so I only see Australian games, it sucks!

Cos I'm English! And for a change... I'm getting bored with hearing comments like; quote from yesterdays game Australia 6 down for less than 100, 'Theres still plenty of batting to come' from Bill Lawry! :-p

    That was a days cricket!

    First session all England
Second all New Zealand and then
Last Session all England again and on the basis of it points decision to England.

Can not wait for day two.

Are the English even interested - or was the first tets just too painful?

It is pretty good to watch and Ambrose looks the goods...

A good test and won deservedly by England. The highlights being a century in his second test to Ambrose and the bowling of Anderson and Sidebottom.

Roll on game three - it has been a good series so far with neither team really dominating the other (apart from the Collingwood/Ambrose partnership in this game).
