Please do not discuss cracks of any kind, including No CD cracks. Such discussions are specifically forbidden by the forum rules:
I don't want to be a hard ass, but the rules are the rules and it's my job to enforce them. Please do not take it personally.Examples of objectionable messages include (but are not limited to):
- Posts containing addresses of warez sites or anything piracy-related: note that this includes "hacks" designed to enable Shogun: Total War, Medieval: Total War and Rome: Total War to run without a CD. The administration is aware of the fact that some use a "no-CD hack" for the purpose of enhancing their system performance, but we feel that the possible illegal benefits from these hacks outweigh all other considerations. Such hacks also require reverse engineering of the game, and this is in violation of the End User Licence Agreement. Anything pertaining to software piracy in general is highly discouraged.
Most people seem to come here because of the TW games, and then stick around because of the great community. If you explore the forums, you'll see that there's a lot more than just discussion of the TW games. The Mead Hall has lots of good writing. The Throne Room has hotseat and PBM games. The Monastery has historical discussions. The Chapter House has Alternate History gaming. The Arena has discussions on all kinds of non-TW games. The Gameroom is full of tons of entertaining mafia games.
