Files not found

[Paradox]

This is the first time I've gotten this far installing EB, I've managed to reach the loading screen before the menu.

Anyway, error messages popped up:

Cannot find data/models_building/spot_fx/eastern_town_gate_spot_fx.CAS

Script Error - eb/data/descr_building_battle/EB_oppida.txt, at line 13, column 28.

The first one looks like a vanilla RTW file.

Have you run the Installation Validation tool by Bovi?

I can't run the batch file, it keeps closing down on me as soon as I open it.

It's supposed to pause after running ... If you run it in a command window you will anyway get the output. See there for what is going wrong.

You might have to ensure that you have Java installed (Java Runtime Enviroment to be precise, or JRE for short). Batch files which cause errors are automatically shut down by the OS without even giving you time to review 'em. And if you don't have Java installed the call to the java program is treated like a batch error.
