    Default Adding music files

Im guessing to change EB's music I simply have to replace the files, keeping the same file names. What Im wondering though is how to add additional music files, rather than replacing the exisiting ones?

Simply add them into descr_sounds_music EXACTLY the way you titled them in the music folders. You don't have to keep to the names of the music files already in the EB Soundtrack if you don't want to. Just make sure it isn't missing a space or something, or at best it won't play, and at worst it will CTD.

I have two soundtrack sets when I play EB, one is Queen and the other Guns and Roses. I just create two DSM files, one that recognises only Queen songs, and one only GnR. That way, you can keep all the songs in the music folder, and hear different ones each session by simply replacing the 'playlist'.

You'll need to know what culture your faction belongs to, though, because you only need to edit that particular culture. Editing the wrong one won't help at all. And if you need to change the game-start songs, those are also right at the beginning of the file, not in the cultures. Hope this helps.

Would you mind listing the song titles that can be found in your playlists?

    descr_sounds_music_Queen:

Menu Screen: It's a Kind of Magic
Continue-campaign Loading Screen: We Will Rock You

    Campaign Map music: Killer Queen
    Bohemian Rhapsody
    I've Got to Break Free
    Innuendo

Battle Odds Scroll Music: I'm Going Slightly Mad

Battle Map music: We Will Rock You
    The Invisible Man
    I Want It All
    Breakthru

    Victory Music: The Miracle
Defeat Music: The Show Must Go On

I'm quite proud of this playlist. I chose some of the songs for irony value. I'm sure you can tell. :D

    descr_sounds_music_GunsnRoses:

I had a MapleStory one too. EB to jolly MapleStory music is...quite unsettling. It's like having Happy Tree Friends in ancient Roma.

IMO, a better song for the Celts, especially the Arverni/Aedui (but IMO, especially especially the Arverni), is "Fortunate Son" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. It's just magical when you hear "I ain't no senator son" when you're cracking those Roman heads open.
