Where the heck are we all from?
This is another question I've not seen asked here in a long time. I know the majority of us are probably from North America or Europe, but I'm curious just the same.
As a few here already know, I myself live in Minneapolis, USA (in the state of Minnesota).

There are a lot of these threads popping up everywhere but I suppose it can't hurt answering them.
I live in Christchurch, New Zealand but when I get the money I'm getting the hell out of here.

The first European!!
As my profile shows, I live on the Isle of Wight and would not change it for the world - countryside, sea and a pace of life to die for.
Besides me living here, the Island is famous for yachting and being the last gig of Jimi Hendrix - I was there with 600,000 other people.
Just noticed - post number 750 - and where better than on a thread from my old mate Martok!! - the weather this morning is kinda Minesota - cold wind, possible snow

I'm from the Netherlands, near Amsterdam to be more precise. Snow is expected this easter, so I've plenty of time to play a couple of rounds of Medieval

As you can see I'm from Leicestershire, the Heart of Rural England (or atleast that's what the travel agents say). Simon DeMontFort is proberly the most important thing Leicester has produced, although the Walkers crisp factory comes a close second.

As of right now, I live at the University of Maine at Orono. It's way up in Northern Maine. Originally I am from southern Maine.

Im actually from Wokingham, Berkshire, UK but I live in Karachi, Pakistan.
Sort of stuck here until I can get an opportunity...

Im at Manchester University in the NW. I kind of wanted a worth while degree. So when given the option to endure an american university, in the bible belt no doubt, its no wonder i declined.

I always thought of it as South-East Asia.

Technically Indonesia is in both South East Asia and Oceania due to parts of Indonesia being in the region of Melanesia, which is a region of Oceania.Hey, if someone where living in Indonesia would they be in East Asia, South Asia or Oceania?

Thats all narrow minded people seem to think you can do with geog, or a weather man. What level geography teacher are you. Here's an important one Human or physical whats your fav. Personally having done geography at 2 Uni's both hum/phy its apparent that Physical is far better. although it seems like there is more money in human, they dont pay us field research monkeys that much

So as a resident of Eastern GAH!zistan where does that leave me.........?I myself tend to think of Indonesia as primarily being part of East Asia, but that's only from my own perspective. I would say just go with whatever region *you* feel fits you the best.

and i would say indonesia is in south east asia. just my opinion though. Im sure true geographical definitions of the region will prove me a liar.
