    Default AI progression thread

Well .. there is this kind of thread in the EB forum so why not here too??
I think it could help new players to know in which way the AI factions usually expand ..
I started a new Brutii campaign where I only defend myself and just build my cities .. it is weird that just doing nothing(not conquering) I have got more senate offices then in a game where I conquer settlement after settlement

Anyway .. I'll post some screenshots soon ..

I noticed that too! Just a shot in the dark, but I'm guessing that family members get more chance of getting elected if they stay inside cities, which is more likely to happen if you don't conquer anything.

There was a thread in the Ludus Magna a while back, I think, about how the AI expands-- something about the line-of-sight-- for example, the Seleucids almost never take Palmyra but aim for Dumatha even though Palmyra is much closer than Dumatha.

    My Brutii Campaign ...

    Year 265 BC

    Year 260 BC

As you can see the Britons are kicking Germanian ass..
Do not know what waked the Egyptians but with 5 years to conquer 5 towns is pretty good for an AI .. Hope they wouldn't get anywhere near Italy
Can't say much about others .. they do things that I was expecting them to do ...
