ctd after the first loading screen

I started the game it p0layed the rtw intro than it crash to desktop without any error message Can someone help me out?

Sounds like a faulty installation, try re-installing it. Either that, or you installed it into the wrong folder. I had this problem, seeing as my RTW directory was /The Creative Assembly/ instead of /Activison/.

So, when you re-install it, make sure you choose the same directory as your RTW.

That same error occurred with me. I have the Total War Eras pack. The file is the The Creative Assembly not Activision. I downloaded the game into the Rome Total War file in the Creative Assembly file twice already and same error, CTD after RTW videos on startup. This version is also already 1.5 too. Please, any help would be appreciated, thanks
