I am debating whether or not to reinact the second triumvirate after Caesar is dead. Or to just get the Augustan reforms straight away in 44 BC.

I always say err on the side of patience. Second Triumvirate for the win!
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

    POST SEVENTEEN - IDUS MARTIAE

45 BC, I have finally managed to take the two cities on the eastern border with Baktria, Trapezous and Ani-Kamah, Baktria suffered yet another rebellion so sent their troops to recapture the city, which allowed me time to go and snatch the two lightly defended cities.

44 BC, In a move that nobody who reads this AAR could see coming, Julius Caesar has been assassinated on the Ides of March by the conspirators! The people of Roma mourned his death and quickly forgot about him as they always do when the faction leader is replaced.

Following Caesar's death, the second Triumvirate was soon set up to rule Roma. With my Augustan wannabee along with two other family members who for the purpose of this AAR are only there to simulate the Triumvirate.

I have decided it is time to invade Eygpt and turn it into an allied state, I will Romanise it when Augustus comes to power. I sent a legion with 2 roman family members to Alexandria, one to command and one to manage, the city was lightly defended but there are several stacks nearby so it will most likely lead to a large engagement before I can truly say I own Alexandria, but for now the city is mine.

Nope no Augustans as of yet, can somebody tell me the name of the trait needed?

I killed Caesar by sending him alone against a rebel army.
