I've just installed EB on my new PC and all words simply pale in comparison.

i am very very jealous. my mind actually boggles at the idea of running eb swiftly (ish) or with huge unit size/high graphics level.Originally Posted by cmacq

Glad you are enjoying it with all the settings cranked up cmacq!
We still appreciate posts like that.![]()
Trust me, you have right to be very jealous as I'm not one easily impressed or ever at a loss for words.

When I downloaded EB I went to the doctors to see if speaking in Latin was a new disease..
The Gods envy us.
They envy us because we are mortal, because any moment might be our last.
Everything is more beautiful because we are doomed.
You will never be lovlier than you are now.
We will never be here again.
Agreed. Upon first playing EB,my mind was blown away by the depth and realism. I think what I liked most about it,though, was the expanded Wonders list. The Athenian Akropolis, the Ruin of Troy, the Delphic Oracle, and my favorite, the Tomb of Megas Alexandros. It makes me wonder (no pun intended) what kind of landmark or famous ruin the next city I conquer will contain.
I must also be improving my battlefield prowess, too, because I achieved my first-ever mass rout yesterday in a sandbox battle!![]()

For Calvin and TosaInu, in a better place together, modding TW without the hassle of hardcoded limits. We miss you.
Indeed, if you crave peace and quiet, prepare for war.
