    Hello all ! I'm proud to announce you that, after Battles of Asia, High_Templar is making his second mod on the RTW engine.
    Battles of Kingdoms is a total conversion for BI 1.6. It add new animations, new factions, new models, new units, maybe new buildings... so, this is a new mod. It is focused on custom battles, like Battles of Asia, but in the Medieval Era. The mod is historical at 80%, because of gameplay reasons.



    Left to right :
    First line : Kingdom of England, Kingdom of France, The Holy Roman Empire
    Second line : Kingdom of Aragon, Crusader States, Kingdom of Italy
    Third line : Kingdom of Sicily, The Papal States, Kingdom of Portugal
    Fourth line : The Byzantine Empire, Kingdom of Hungary
    Fifth line : The Kubilai Khan Khanate
    Sixth line : The Seljukid Sultanate, The Ayyubid Sultanate, The Moors Sultanate
    Seventh line :The Abbassid Sultanate


    The mod has new glow effects, but because I'm using Skymod, they don't work. I will post some screens with the glow effect soon.
    The animations you can see are from vanilla. The new animations aren't implanted yet.

    some very nice looking stuff in there

    I like the idea of the maces (with the chain) - does that look ok in battle? If it comes out as a rigid one piece weapon it would rather spoil the effect, am intrigued to know if you can get it to work properly.....

    Yes, it will be in battle, but of course with totally new animations...

    I have asked to my leader... yes, the chain of the maces will be totally animated.

    I have bad news today : the animations for the maces don't work... so there won't be maces in the mod...

    anyways, why not try another approach? the managed to have maces somewhere in IBFD...

    I wonder if you can get any further with it if you try basing on a slinger skeleton? (if you didn't already try that) Would still need new animation but I think that gives you a different bone set up which allows the whirling of the sling.
