    Hey Martok,

sorry it didn't work. Hmmm. Have you scrolled down far enough?
The normal eras aren't deleted, you need to scroll down.
The superimposed map for early, high, late is okay.
the maps only show correctly for Vikings and Samurai eras.
If you did the copy method to create the second install, then I guess you could just repeat that procedure as it doesn't take that long.

Actually, no I had not -- which I discovered about 5 minutes after putting up the OP. Yeah, everything works fine.

Question now is: Does anyone have any particular recommendations for which clan I should try? Between the fact that most here seem to find SW quite challenging, and the fact that I'm really only a pretty average player overall, I have a feeling I should probably try one of the easier clans.

I notice a lot of mods don't delete the MTW era startpos files. Are they required to be there or are they left there to avoid having to delete files as part of the installation?

@Martok: I started my campaign as the Shimazu, they've always remained my favourite and were the first faction I played when I first got the original Shogun.

This is my current turtling Shimazu/Hard/Huge Units campaign:
