Thread: How do I modify faction colours/names?

Default How do I modify faction colours/names?

I already asked in my AAR thread but I'm really impatient and I want to finish this chapter.

I noticed in MarcusAureliusAntoninus' AAR he edits the colours of factions on the strategy map to represent that they are a new, emergent faction. He also changes the name of the faction itself.

I was wondering what files I need to edit if I want to make a certain faction a different colour and change its name. It is possible right?

Thanks. I found it and now I have a beautiful deep blue representing the Kingdom of Karia.

It's that easy to change colors for the strategic map? Awesome, I had no idea.

Well, you do have to know hexadecimal colour coding, but that's about all for difficulty, really.

hexadecimal colour coding? are those the numbers you see in photoshop when picking a custom color?

Some people say I'm heartless. Shows what they know. I have three in a jar on my desk!
