OK, I probably should have waited but what I have done is downloaded mundus magnus 3 and overwrote all files from that over the existing ones in the imperial campaign folder, texts, terrain etc.
When selecting a faction I can see the mm3 map but when selecting one it just loops back to the main menu.
have you put -show_err on your shortcut?

when you have, does it say anything when you exit the game?
what version of RTW does MM3 say its for? and which version (patch number eg 1.3 / 1.5) are you using - go into 'Options' menu and see what number in top right hand corner is, if you don't know...

that might help

If you do by chance fix it, instead of overwriting the imperial campaign slot, rename it. Then, rename the folder "mundus magnus" or whatever it may be called to "imperial_campaign", or the exact name of the original. This will cause the game to look in the mundus magnus folder, which the game now sees as the original campaign.

We will never be here again.
