Problem uninstalling both RTW and EB

I have a problem uninstalling RTW which i thought might be sorted by uninstalling EB but EB now won't install - it just brings up an uninstaller that says 'gathering required information' - but even after 15 minutes nothing more happens.

I'd installed RTW 1.0 then copied it to a second folder, then patched the original to 1.3 then 1.5 and cut and pasted it into a new folder for EB.

Then i'd copied and pasted the backup copy of RTW 1.0 i'd made back into the original RTW folder and installed BI in the original folder (not the EB folder). I noticed though that both the Rome exe in the EB folder and in the original folder when they loaded only showed 'version 1.3' on the options screen. I think this was because i'd used a newer white label version of BI which was 1.6 but because it was BI 1.6 and not a patch it didnt patch RTW to 1.5 - though i cant understand why that should be really.


So i tried to uninstall and re-install both BI and RTW - but i hit Alt-Tab during re-install and the re-install jumped from the beginning to the end without seeming to get any files from CD and put the BI version back in the original folder.

So i tried to uninstall again but cant.

Can anyone help please?
